Positive People Care support people with mental health challenges and people with long term illnesses and their carers. Positive People Care have regular social meetings in Chatteris, March and Wisbech. They also arrange activities, outings and day trips.

Positive People Care provide weekly social meetings and Art & Craft groups for people with disabilities and/or mental health challenges and their carers. It is run by a group of volunteers.

If you would like you attend then please give Dale a call first, who can tell you more about the group and answer any questions.

They meet  Every Mondays 10am -12pm in March (excluding bank holidays) they are usually in the ‘quiet room’ which is accessible through the front entrance and taking the door to the left.

They meet every Tuesday in Wisbech 11:30 – 1pm – they are usually in the raised area

They also organise subsided activities outings and day trips.

Their aim is to help you get better and move out into the community thus gaining a good quality of life.

Some examples of the support they provide:

  • Subsidised day trips & holidays
  • Shopping trips
  • Ten pin bowling & indoor matte bowls
  • Art for mindfulness
  • Support attending job centre
  • Support attending assessments
  • Help applying for concessionary bus pass entitlement

No membership fee – social meetings are free.

Art group – materials are all provided.

Positive People Care provide subsidized activities, day trips and outings, to ensure they are affordable for those who are in receipt of benefits.

This project has received grant funding  from Healthy Fenland.
