People and Animals Drop inBack to Activities
Join the friendly team at People and Animals to help them improve the local green spaces, share a skill or learn something new. Or just join like minded people for a cup of tea and a chat.
This activity is good for wellbeing because
- it is a great way to give back as well as learning new skills
- it is great to spend some time outdoors and with nature
- it is an opportunity to connect with other people
‘In January my life was going no where. Suffering at home with my mental health issues. Today not even 6 months on they have all given me the confidence to speak to other people, to be around dogs for the first time in my life and I am 48 years old and now I’m a volunteer for the people and animals group.’
