Chatteris Netball Club

Back to Activities

Chatteris Netball Club are a friendly local community club with the ethos to make netball accessible and affordable for the local community. They have a number of junior and senior teams. Annually they have Back to Netball and Walking Netball sessions.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • Being part of a team and club brings friendships on and off court so lots of conversations, sharing, learning and fun
  • It helps you set your own goals and be supported to reach them and then feel that good self achievement
  • Keeping active and having a weekly commitment to train and play keeps fitness levels and will boost your energy

‘ I have lived in Chatteris for years and not made any friends so felt isolated and down. Since joining the club my life is full of netball friends and in the last 2 years I have become a player, kit officer, fundraiser and been confident to take the Walking Netball coaching course so will be delivering sessions.’
