Befriending Club

Back to Activities

A friendly group that meets weekly in the community room at FACT in March, for those who enjoy social interaction with like-minded people over coffee, cake, laughs and games. They provide door to door transport for this service, so you don’t need to worry about a thing.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • it’s good to be social with other people
  • it’s good to get out of the house for a change of scenery
  • talking to others and playing games keeps our minds active

‘I am an original member of the friendship clubs and we have formed many friendships and we now go on holidays together.’ – Friendship Group Member
