The Community Fridge based within the FACT Community Hub in March is open to the community to access free food surplus to help reduce food wastage. They help anyone in need, it is not means tested - you do not need a voucher.

The Community Fridge aims to reduce food waste and tackle food poverty. Anyone who lives nearby can exchange surplus food, including businesses.
The Community Fridge can be accessed by anyone in the community, and anyone can give to or receive food from the fridge. There are some rules on what you can and cannot put in the fridge (for health and safety reasons), so please contact them if you require anymore information.
They are able to support people with specific dietary requirements. Please message for additional information.
Check the Facebook page for opening times – no appointment is needed, you can just turn up. And you don’t need a referral or voucher.
The Community Fridge is free to access.
