If you are struggling with your mental health during pregnancy or two years after giving birth, then you can self-refer to this peer support group by emailing [email protected]
Meeting once a month (click on the image above for dates/times), it’s an opportunity to connect with other local mums who may be sharing similar experiences – to support each other, learn from each other and form friendships. Groups meet in Child & Family Centres which provide a space for children to play in a suitable environment during the sessions. It is a safe, respectful and open-minded environment.
If you aren’t comfortable self-referring, you can ask a health professional to refer you instead (a GP, health visitor or midwife). There’s more information on the website as well as a referral form for you or a healthcare professional to complete.
CPSL Mind has also worked in partnership to deliver support for Muslim mums – find out more here.
There is also support for new dads that are struggling with their mental health – find out more here.
This support is free.
