Alison and Suzy from the GoodCompany are trained and experienced in supporting people. These sessions will run for 4 hours and provide support to anyone living with a health condition, dementia or memory problems that require them to receive support from another person.
The sessions are designed to meet the needs of the individuals attending with themed activities, a healthy lunch and drinks and snacks throughout the day. The 4-hour session will enable carers to have a break from their caring duties whilst knowing their loved ones are safe and cared for.
The sessions are limited to 8 people per session and you will need to book a place prior to attending by contacting Alison or Suzy. You will need to complete a short assessment form to ensure that your loved one is suitable for the sessions.
No personal care is provided, however prompts to eat, drink, take medication and use the toilet can be given where needed.
