What to expect:
You’re sure to get a warm welcome at our local Community Living Rooms, run by dedicated volunteers and community members.
You don’t need to book to attend the Community Living Rooms, nor do you have to stay for the whole time it’s open: You can drop in and leave when you feel like it. There’s no expectation that you have to get involved in any activities, you can simply sit and enjoy a warm drink or get involved in an activity and chat to others.
Venues have access to toilets, but facilities such as parking, disabled toilets and baby change facilities vary from venue to venue.

Cambridgeshire ACRE in Partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support has a new Fenland Community Cancer Champions service which ensures that people living in Fenland have improved knowledge about cancer and support to access early diagnosis, treatment and personalised care.
They support adults living in Fenland to:
- Provide you or someone you care for with practical and emotional support.
- Check your wellbeing and match you to the best support available.
- Represent you by liaising with health professionals involved in your cancer care, Macmillan cancer support workers and other services.
- Link you with Community Cancer Champions and local volunteers near you for peer support and opportunities to socialise.
Their Macmillan Village Agents and Cancer Champions are based in Community Living Rooms across Fenland and can also see you in a venue that’s best for you.
