Keeping healthy when you are looking after someone else can be challenging. Setting small goals can help make healthy lifestyle changes more achievable, and Healthy You’s specialist Carer Health Trainer can help motivate you to make positive changes to your physical health and mental wellbeing.
If you are caring for someone based in Cambridgeshire and you are registered with a Cambridgeshire based GP, you will be assigned your own Carer Health Trainer who will offer you support and understanding every step of the way.
Your Carer Health Trainer will work with you to find out what changes you would like to make including:
- healthy eating;
- losing weight;
- increasing physical activity;
- reducing stress;
- growing a support network;
- creating more structure in your day.
