The Wisbech Veterans Hub aims to be a safe place for veterans, their friends, and families to meet for a chat and a cuppa.
This activity is good for wellbeing because
- it's a safe and welcoming environment;
- they have outings that can include you regardless of whether you are able-bodied or not (e.g. boat trips);
- they plan to bring in art and crafts for those that attend.

What to expect
The Wisbech Veterans Hub is made up of like-minded people who enjoy a good natter and a cuppa mixed with a bit of a carry on. It is a good place for those who might not speak to other veterans often. They hope to soon be able to offer advice or direction to where to get help as well.
There is a range of ages of attendees, including a few veterans from a nearby care home.
Come along and you will have a warm and friendly welcome. There is no need to book, just turn up have a cuppa and a biscuit, stay as long as you like or not. There is a Health & Safety sign-in book that records name encase of evacuation etc.
Carers, guest etc. are more than welcome.

You must be a Veteran or a serving member of HM Forces, or a friend or family member.
There is parking but a parking permit must be obtained (FREE).
The venue is all on the ground floor with toilets and accessible toilets.
Tea and coffee are provided for free, but a small donation is welcome.
Carers, friends and support people are most welcome.
All activities are free to attend, though a small donation for tea/coffee is welcome.
