Wisbech Tennis Club is an all year round, play whatever the weather club in Wisbech. It welcomes players of all levels and abilities to come and play tennis.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • It gets you out in the fresh air
  • Its a chance to meet new people
  • Anyone can take part and enjoy playing at their own level

What to expect

On your first visit a member of the club will meet and greet you.  Balls are provided by the club, tennis rackets can be provided but you are welcome to bring your own.

Trainers or tennis shoes need to be worn but otherwise any appropriate clothing is acceptable.

There is parking at the club.  The site is wheelchair accessible although there is a small step into the clubhouse.  The toilets are not currently wheelchair accessible.

Wisbech Tennis Club  have two all weather, artificial clay courts which are suitable for all year round play whatever the weather, including flood lights.  There is also one full size tarmacadam court and one singles court, both with floodlights, so players have a choice of surface.  There is also a fully enclosed, purpose-built mini court which is suitable for juniors and the less able.

The club also has a welcoming clubhouse with two toilets, fridge and hot drink facilities and outside is a table tennis table which players can use between games.

There is a gravel car park complete with two disabled bays and bike stands.

The club runs taster sessions and open days throughout the year.

Membership fees apply (contact club via email for rates of membership).  Payment per session is also an option.
