Whittlesey Table Tennis Club (WTTC) is a non profit organisation that provides a safe and friendly place to play table tennis, to learn basic or advance skills and receive effective professional coaching. Open to people or all ages, backgrounds and abilities.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • It gets you out of the house to do some physical activity
  • Meet friendly people who are accepting and non-judgmental
  • It’s great to learn something new in a supportive environment

What to expect?

WTTC meets 3 times a week and prides itself on being a fully inclusive club, catering for players at all ages and levels.

On arriving for your first session you will be greeted by one of the friendly coaches and given a tour of the buildings.  You will then be shown the basics of how to hold the bat and play Table Tennis.  There will be ongoing coaching throughout the sessions that you attend.

More information

WTTC welcome players of all ages, standards and offer an extensive coaching programme for children and adults alike.  It is a club that is both friendly and professional, it’s coaches are registered licenced coaches with Table Tennis England.

The club meets several times a week at the Indoor Bowling Complex and caters for beginners, social players and advanced players.

For those wanting to progress their are opportunities to join local and national competition and leagues.

 

There coaches are 1st aid trianed, DBS checked and the club has a Safeguarding policy in Place.

WTTC is affiliated to Whittlesey Sports Association and  a Member of Peterborough and District Table Tennis Association.

Whittlesey Table Tennis is a non profit organisation.

Once you are a member the following are free:

  • coaching and training
  • use of tables and equipment
  • free tea and coffee
  • free parking at the venue

There is a yearly membership fee.

There is a small charge for each sessions to cover the venue hire. Check out WTTC website for details on fees.
