Whittlesey Open Door Calm Space – CPSL Mind

Back to Activities

Everyone feels overwhelmed at times. The Open Door calm spaces provide somewhere to go if you need a bit of space and tranquillity.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • Relaxation techniques can help us manage stress and anxiety

  • Techniques learn can be used outside the sessions if you are feeling overwhelmed

  • It’s a chance to connect with like minded people which can help us feel less isolated and alone.

‘I have been really stressed about moving house, so I popped down to one of the sessions. I felt really relaxed and calm afterwards which was exactly what I was hoping for. Everyone was really friendly and it was nice to chat to the others that attended’

What is an Open Door calm space?

What to expect?

Open Door calm spaces, online via Zoom and in local community spaces, offer a place to find guidance on self-help techniques which can help you to ‘ground yourself’ and feel better – both in that moment and in the future.

They are a chance to learn a range of relaxation and mindfulness techniques that you can take into your daily life. Open Door Calm Spaces are facilitated by the friendly team from CPSL Mind.
