The Manor Dolphins Swimming Club offers swimming sessions for children who wish to join a local non-competitive club to improve their swimming technique, stamina and keep fit. It’s a great opportunity to make new friends in a friendly atmosphere.

What to expect
The Club offers swimming sessions for children aged between 7 and 18 who are at Swim England level 7 or above. You can find out more about the Swim England levels by clicking here.
When you contact the club, they will invite you (the child) to a free taster session where they will check your swimming ability.
If you are then offered a place at the club, you will be assigned a session and lane to swim in and introduced to your main swimming coach.
Each week you will report to their secretary upon arrival at the swimming pool. You will then change into your swimming costume and go poolside to start your session.
The Club supplies swimming hats to all members free of charge, and ask that all swimmers wear goggles for their sessions.
Each session lasts an hour and you will swim at either 6.30 to 7.30, or 7.30 to 8.30.

The Club also offer coaching sessions to adults who have children who are members. Adults who join the club must be able to swim competently.
Parking is free at the Manor Leisure Centre, and toilets and changing rooms are available. Find out more about the Centre on this page.
A spectator area is available at the pool for people to watch during each session.
The Club is run by volunteers who are passionate about swimming.
Taster sessions are free and are offered when you show interest in joining the club.
All sessions (after the taster session) require payment.
Payment is required at the start of each term in September, January and April. An insurance fee is also payable in January each year. Please contact the Club for details of fees.
