Whittlesey Ex-Services Brunch Club is a group of Ex-Service and Serving Personnel who, like other veteran clubs, are seeking to support our veterans and their families. The group meet on a monthly basis for brunch in a local venue.
This activity is good for wellbeing because
- It understands adjusting to civvy life isn’t always plain sailing
- You can enjoy breakfast and forces-related banter with like-minded company
- A local Social Prescribing Link Worker and Armed Forces Covenant Officer can provide suitable health and social care signposting
What to expect?
There’s no need to book, just come along.
This is part of the national Armed Forces Breakfast Clubs, which aim to provide a friendly and safe space for past and present members of the Armed Forces and First Responders (Police, Fire & Medical) to gather for a chat and a cuppa with people who have had similar experiences.
The club is attended by the local social prescriber and the Armed Forces Covenant Officer who can support in helping you connect with any local services or support you might need.
