Friday Bridge - The Hope Hub

Back to Activities

The Hope Hub is a volunteer-led coffee morning in Friday Bridge that brings the community together in a relaxed, friendly setting. Attendees can enjoy a warm drink, meet new people, and listen to inspiring guest speakers who share stories and practical tips to support wellbeing.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • It's a chance to meet new people and catch up with them regularly.
  • You can chat to the volunteers about local services and support that you may need in an informal setting over a cup or tea and some biscuits.
  • They have a variety or interesting guests and speakers attend each month.

What to Expect:

Enjoy a warm welcome from friendly volunteers and free refreshments like tea and coffee. If it’s your first visit, the volunteers will introduce you to other attendees, making it easy to feel at home. There’s no need to book, just drop in whenever you can. Attendance is flexible, so you don’t have to come every week.

Sessions run every Monday from 10am to 1pm (except bank holidays) and include a variety of guest speakers, such as local services explaining how they can help. You’ll also find opportunities to play games, join activities, and shape the group’s future with plans for crafts and more. Volunteers are always available for a chat, advice, and support if you’re facing challenges.

The building is fully wheelchair accessible and there are toilets inside. There is plenty of parking outside of the building.

More Information:

The Hope Hub is volunteer run and is supported by Cambridgeshire Acre.  Their village agents are on hand to provide information, advice and signposting to other services.
