Rosebank Day Care Centre - Edina Court

What to expect:

If you or a family member are interested in attending the day centre, you can contact MHA who will take your details and then invite you in for an assessment. The assessment will ask what care needs you have, what your interests are, and they will tell you more and the day centre.

The centre is open from 09:00 to 15:00 on a Tuesday and Thursday (they hope to expand this service to more days in the week in the future). They provide a diverse range of activities during the day, which includes arts and crafts, games, cooking, gardening in the summer months, and lots more. They also provide person-centred care to clients as required.

They also provide care and support for clients living with dementia, with staff that are fully trained in this field. They have a Chaplain who delivers services within the day centre, providing compassionate care for the spiritual, religious, and pastoral needs of their clients, residents and their families.

They offer a taster day to new potential attendees.

There is parking at the site, a hot meal is provided, and there are drinks and biscuits throughout the day.

Rosebank Daycare is run by a large organisation called MHA (Methodist Homes). They provide a safe, friendly environment for clients to attend for the day, to enable their families to receive some respite. They provide a hot meal included in the price.

The staff are all fully trained to a higher standard to enable residents and clients to live well in later life. They are also connected to Edina Court, which is a Retirement Living complex run by MHA that allows people to live as independently as they can, but also provides in-house care provision.
