What to expect:
Visitors can expect a welcoming, inclusive and creative environment suitable for all skill levels. You’re free to drop in to explore, join activities, or simply see what’s happening—staff are happy to give tours and explain the space.
Regular sessions run throughout the week, including free Digital Lounge drop-ins (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10am–12pm) and RENEW Textiles & Fibre Club (Thursdays 1–3pm, Saturdays 10am–12pm). A popular free workshop also takes place on the first Saturday of each month (1–3pm), with booking required.
The venue is accessible, with minimal level changes and accessible toilets. Refreshments are often available, and pushchairs and well-behaved dogs are welcome. There is free parking onsite, with additional street parking nearby if needed.

REMO Eco Hub is a creative, community-focused space designed for makers of all kinds. As a social enterprise and charity, REMO is committed to sustainability—rescuing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing and recycling materials to reduce waste and support the circular economy.
The hub features a paint shop, arts and crafts supplies, fabrics and haberdashery, alongside a Digital Lounge with free computer and internet access. Regular initiatives include the RENEW textiles workshops, Let’s Get Digital sessions, and the Fentastic Plastic project.
Many activities are free to attend thanks to grant funding, including drop-in Digital Lounge access and RENEW Fibre Club sessions. Some workshops carry a small charge, clearly advertised in advance. Makerspace membership (£40/month) provides access to specialist tools including laser cutters, a wood workshop, pottery studio and sewing machines.
REMO is certified by Social Enterprise UK, verified by People and Planet, and a member of The Community RePaint Network.
Some activities are free/ fully funded.
