What to expect:
For new members, there is a form for parents to fill in for their children to attend. It covers issues such as safeguarding, health and safety, and consent.
Parents are able to stay and watch, but most parents choose to leave their children at 5pm and pick them up at 7pm.
Most children in the group speak English, however the group is trying to introduce and teach traditional Lithuanian dance, books and language.
For any questions or queries, you can contact Sivija or Daiva and they will be happy to answer them.
The group is lead by Silvikja, Daiva and their group of volunteers. They help teach children and young people about Lithuanian traditions and festivals, and create performances that can be enjoyed at the time of these festivals.
There is a weekly cost for children to attend this group, but this cost also covers any materials and costumes needed for performances.
The group are also hoping to run a drama group for adults; please let Silvikja & Daiva know if you are interested!
The group sometimes have free performances for the public to watch.
There is a fee per session for children to attend.
