Over 30's Kick About is a no obligation football session in March; just come along, put on your trainers/boots and join in. They just play fun matches, no training routines. The group is open to men and women.
This activity is good for wellbeing because
- Adults with busy lives get to keep their weekends free whilst socialising and letting off steam in a friendly and safe environment.
- Anybody of any physical condition can play. They let everyone do as much or as little as they like, with no judgement.
- There is no pressure, no team. If you can’t make it you aren’t letting anyone down, just come when you can.
‘Things are difficult for me right now, but I look forward to football as I just get involved and can put my worries to one side for a while’ Kick About attendee
What to Expect:
There is a carpark on site.
More information:
The sessions have been organised by Gary who noticed there was a lack of activities where people could just get together in an informal way and enjoy playing football.
If you want to know more or connect with other players who attend you can join their facebook group.
Sessions are £3 per participant, which helps cover costs.
