Fenland Pilates and Meno Fitness is run by Kathleen. Pilates is an excellent low impact form of exercise which is suitable for all ages and abilities. It helps strengthen the body and improve posture and balance and can help relive aches and pains by enhancing joint mobility.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • Helps improve concentration and mindfulness

 

 

  • Encourages better breathing
  • Can help reduce stress

What to expect

You will need to book your class either by phone or email prior to attending by contacting Kathleen. Kathleen will be happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have.

Classes usually last between 45 - 60 minutes and vary in size.  Classes are suitable for people of all level of fitness and moves can be adapted to fit your level of experience.

It's advised that you wear clothes that are comfy and suitable for exercising in. You will need to bring your own matt and it's advised that you bring some water.

Most venues have access to toilets and parking varies.

Kathleen is an experiences Pilates instructor.  She is passionate about supporting people to improve their fitness through Pilates.  She understands the challenges of women and has incorporated fitness exercises that can support women going through the menopause, to ease symptoms.

Pilates is an excellent low impact form of exercise which is suitable for all ages and abilities. It’s a slow controlled series of exercises that target the smaller muscles. It helps strengthen the body and improve posture and balance and can help get rid of niggling aches and pains by enhancing joint mobility and flexibility.

Pilates also encourages greater mind body connection and a greater body awareness….of course it’s also great for your core and abs as well as keeping your back strong and supple.

Kathleen also runs a Love to Move Session at March Braza club, every Tuesday 11am - 12:30am.  These sessions are paid for sessions, however carers can attend for free.

Classes need to be pre booked and pre paid, this can be done on a weekly basis.
