What to Expect
High Street Junior Play Area is located on High Street in the small town of Benwick. This park can be quiet and peaceful throughout the day when children are in school.
It has a range of play equipment for children of various ages including:
- Swings
- Climbing frames for smaller children
- Climbing frames for older children
- Slides
- Rope Wing
There are also seating and picnic benches throughout the park. There is an enclosed pitch that can be used for 5 a side football or also for playing basketball.
There is limited on-street parking at the park, so please be conscientious of local residents. There are no toilets at this park, however there is a local café situated in the local shop which is only a few minutes walk away. There is also beautiful scenery around the village if you wish to explore near the river and cemetery.
